Fuzzy's poncho

I went to the Guyan Brunch today with Moppy.  It was lovely and wonderful to spend a couple of hours catching up with Moppy's life.  Food was terrific!  Fuzzy was serving as hostess and was wearing a WONDERFUL poncho that was very flattering (of course, Fuzzy would look good in a gunny sack) and dressy.  So here are the details of the poncho.  As with all knitted things, the poncho was absolutely twice as pretty in person.  Fuzzy said that someone at Lady of Fatima or St Joe had made this item and her mother had purchased (?) it there.

Here is a closeup of the fabric showing the different yarns:

It would seem that to know how big to make it, one just needs to measure the person from elbow to elbow for width and then from shoulder to place that one prefers bottom to hit and double for length.

Fuzzy's poncho hits her as shown below...kind of about wrist length.

The next two photos show the other side.  The poncho is reversible:

You can see that the white looks like specks on the "knitted side" while they are floats on the purl side.  It would seem to me that there are three colors of yarn.....the white somewhat thicker yarn, the pink yarn and a variegated green/yellow color.....it is very wonderful!  or perhaps there are only two colors:  white and a variegated yarn.....
