This Shawl is made from a free pattern by Lion Brand. The original pattern on larger needles with a heavier weight yarn than is shown in this photo. The lighter weight yarn is much prettier in the photos than the shawls with heavier yarn. The suggestion for this smaller shawl is to use size 10 needles. I think that I would probably just have to work on the gauge until I get it right. I downloaded the free pattern and put it in drop box with name tat is shown in title of this blog post.
